Kenny Slaught Discusses Perks Of Girls Rock Santa Barbara Initiative
The Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation sponsored the Girls Rock Santa Barbara in 2015. Knowing that music inspires teens, Kenny Slaught discusses how the foundation fosters their creativity. The program consists of music lessons, various workshops and live performances. Students are encouraged to question gender stereotypes, collaborate together and be open minded. Girls Rock Santa Barbara provides a good example that arts are available to all, a goal supported by the Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation.
