Kenny Slaught Celebrates Continuing Impression Of George Washington Smith
The most famous structures in Santa Barbara are the hundreds of year old Hotel Virginia, the Old Mission’s pink towers used for events and the historic district of El Pueblo Viejo. The County Courthouse has tiles depicting beautiful murals. The nearby clock tower and observation deck offer a scenic view over the city. The Lobero theatre dates back to 1873 and was redesigned by George Washington Smith in the 1920s. The city’s architectural buildings only exist due to the city planner’s advanced thinking.
