Kenny Slaught Appreciates the Fine Attention to Detail in Architecture

Approximately a century ago, famous architect George Washington Smith, brought about California movement known as the Spanish Colonial revival. Smith was a man who dropped out of Harvard to finally work as a bond trader. As soon as Smith became a flourishing businessman, he moved to Santa Barbara area to lead a relaxed life and planned  to focus on his painting interests. Still, he was surprised when he discovered that everyone loved the house he had created, enthusing him to keep making stunning architectural buildings for other people in California. He only used unfailing materials from Spain and merged new and old world styles. Today Smith’s works are looked-for and admired for their minimalistic beauty and intricate design. He is known as a founding father of Santa Barbara, as many generations of architects have been inspired by his artistic lead. Kenny Slaught respects the keen eye and attention to detail needed to design a structure of such artistic excellence.
