Kenny Slaught Says President Herbert Hoover Made Significant Contributions to the Construction of the Dam

Hoover Dam was built from 1931 to 1936, during the Great Depression era. The project cost $49 million dollars and was originally called Boulder Dam. Its name was later changed to Hoover Dam to mark the contributions made by President Herbert Hoover. Kenny Slaught says that the structure can generate 4,2 billion kWh 2 per year, is 379 meters long and 221 meters high. Hoover Dam has a capacity of over 35.000 cubic kilometers.
