Kenny Slaught Provides Support For Trauma Services Initiatives

Patients with chronic illness and their relatives are supported through Hospice of Santa Barbara’s programs. Most of these focus on kids who deal with losing a family member. Almost 20 percent of them experience the death of a relative before 18. and one in 20 have at least one parent pass away before they reach adult age. Kenny Slaught explains how the Hospice’s programs supports such individuals and help them avoid anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and depression.
