Kenny Slaught – Hoover Dam Is Top Hydroelectric Power Plant

The room contains 17 generators, from which 16 are big, while 2 are smaller and act like one generator. They provide hydroelectric energy to 15 areas nearby, Kenny Slaught explains. The dam offers 28% to Southern California, 23% to Nevada and 18% to Arizona. The Native American tribes nearby also receive energy from the dam, while 90% of the water in Las Vegas is provided by it. Lake Mead is located in the dam. When it gets to full capacity, it can be the biggest water reservoir in the US. As of now, it is managed by the United States Bureau of Reclamation and is an important tourist attraction.
